X3D Example Archives: X3D for Web Authors, Chapter 04 - Viewing Navigation

Viewpoint nodes are the primary means for users to explore a scene. NavigationInfo nodes enable different user-interaction styles (FLY, WALK, EXAMINE etc.) as appropriate. Only one Viewpoint and one NavigationInfo node can each be active a time, with order of selection controlled via a binding stack.

Scene design: a TimeSensor clock drives and IntegerSequencer for each t0/t1/etc. event, and a customized Script node sends bind/unbind events to the correct Viewpoint. Display the browser console to see occurrence of each event.
