I don't think there is a browser plugin yet from openoffice.org though the
tool itself is free.

I have also posted .pdf versions, which are easy for most people.
n.b. that first half of each .pdf slides sets are landscape-mode slides,
the second half are portrait-mode slides + notes.

Also added .zip for all chapters at once, making download easier

Thank you for pointing out this problem. I have since figured out
how to do the images properly and the problem should be solved.
Please check when convenient so that my laptop isn't fooling me again.

You are of course welcome, further comments are gratefully received.

Please be advised there are more resources now:

- First chapter slideset split into "Getting Started" as chapter 0,
enabling quicker introduction and then jumping to authoring
	in chapter 2
- slidesets provided up through Chapter 5, Appearance Materials Textures
(something like 340 slides for 6 slidesets, many notes pages also)

I am currently teaching the course with the new slides. Goal for each
slideset is around a week's worth of classes (4-5 hours).

There is also a new capability in X3D-Edit: embedded chat. Manual install
required, directions at
	https://savage.nps.edu/X3D-Edit
	https://savage.nps.edu/X3D-Edit/XmppChatCollaborationModule.html

Work in progress:
- putting chat setup in the autoinstaller so that manual plugin addition
	is no longer required
- allowing multiple chat participants to share editing of a single file -
this is a way-cool feature in Netbeans that we are carefully adding
- ongoing bugfixes, roughly weekly autoupdates

enjoy, aloha

all the best, Don
