Were you attempting to use the link at the top 'All .pdf slidesets'. 
That link (and the one for the .odp) are not correct. Please use 
http://x3dGraphics.com/slidesets/X3dForWebAuthors/X3dForWebAuthorsSlidesets.pdf.zip 
until Don can correct the link. If you want the ODP version, substitute 
'odp' for 'pdf' in the above link.
